• About the Role

    This position is responsible for overseeing all financial and compliance operations, ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization.     Responsibilities

    Financial Management:

    • Manage all aspects of the Foundation's finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.

    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactions.

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure they are within budget and identify potential cost-saving measures.

    • Prepare and submit financial reports to funders and other stakeholders as required.

    Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Section 8 Company registration, tax compliance (Income Tax, GST), 80G registration, and FCRA Registration.

    • Advise on and implement best practices in financial management and risk mitigation.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.

    • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.

    Technology & Systems:

    • Manage and maintain the Foundation's financial software and systems, including accounting software.
